Heel Pain
It is getting warm outside and with the increase in heat comes a change in shoe gear. Most people are transitioning to sandals and flip flops. With this change from supportive shoes to flats comes pain in the heel. Heel pain can be many different things and always needs to be checked by a podiatrist. Often times and x-ray is taken to r/o fracture and other possible ailments. Most likely it can be treated easily in the office as plantar fasciitis. DeleteIf the high heels are causing the heel pain then not a good idea right now. However, heel pain is easily treated and can allow for a quick return to any potential shoe.
DeleteI think so but have the heels checked from a local podiatrist to see the risks/benefits of your current shoe gear.
DeleteIn my practice I tell folks that it is not my job to change your shoe gear it is my job to accomadate your current lifestyle. So the answer is yes I have many patients who had heel issues in the past that have returned to high heels.
